Employee Recognition Awards

Employee recognition awards work best when they turn up regularly and carry a real name. There are 36 designs here, 6 in glass and 30 in clear acrylic, covering everything from a monthly desk award to a top sales prize. Employee of the Month

A monthly scheme needs a small piece and one larger award for the end of the year. The Glass Block Award does this well: an 80mm or 100mm piece each month, then the 180mm for Employee of the Year, so all 13 belong together. You will not know a winner until the month ends, so most firms order one at a time, which is fine as we have no minimum.

A business with several sites can save up instead. Four sites naming a winner each month make 12 awards a quarter. On one order, that earns 5% on glass or 12% on acrylic.

Staff awards for a company night

Staff awards need titles that mean something on your own site. These suit most businesses:

  • Rising Star: the Rising Star Acrylic Award, for an apprentice or a new starter.
  • Customer Service Award: the Five Star Acrylic Award.
  • Best Idea: the Bright Idea Acrylic Award, cut in the shape of a light bulb.
  • Team of the Year: the Jade Glass Wedge Award at 240mm, kept in the team's office.

Sales awards

Sales awards are easy to judge and easy to argue over, so publish the rules before the year starts. Top Seller, Best New Business and Most Improved cover most teams. The Crown Acrylic Award gives the top seller an obvious prize, and the Summit Acrylic Award suits a team that finally hit a hard target. The Optic Glass Award comes in purple, green, red and blue, so each region can have its own colour at 180mm or 200mm.

Glass or acrylic?

Glass awards are laser engraved in our own workshop, so the words are part of the piece. Stock is live on each page. Acrylic awards are 12mm clear, UV printed on the reverse with white ink behind the design, which keeps your brand colours solid. Send full-colour artwork through the product page, or type your wording for black text with an optional logo. They are made to order here, with their own discount: 6% at 5 pieces, 12% at 10 and 19% at 25.

Plan the wording once

Set one layout for each award and use it every time: title, name, then month or year. The next person to run the scheme can follow it, and the awards will still match in three years. Our corporate awards cover wider business gifts and dinners.

Employee Recognition Awards: your questions

What makes a good Employee of the Month award?
A small piece that sits on a desk. An 80mm or 100mm Glass Block Award is a good fit, with a logo above the name. Use the 180mm of the same design for Employee of the Year.
Can an award carry our brand colours?
Acrylic awards can, as they print in full colour from artwork you upload on the product page. Glass is laser engraved, so a logo comes out as engraving and not in colour.
Will glass and acrylic share a discount band?
They use separate bands. Glass counts alongside any trophies in the basket, while acrylic has its own deeper discount, counting every acrylic award in the basket. Both come off automatically, with no code to enter.
Can each award carry a different name?
Yes, order each piece with its own wording, so a table of glass awards for a company night can carry a different name, title and year on every one.
Can a business see prices without VAT?
Yes, site prices have VAT in them, and there is an ex-VAT price for businesses as well, which makes it simpler to check a staff awards budget before anything goes through accounts.
