Fishing Trophies

Fishing trophies for match series, club specimens and junior anglers, with engraving included in the price. The Leaping Carp Fishing Trophy is our one dedicated design, and every other trophy here is a multi-sport piece: pick your shape and height, and a Coarse Fishing centre is already fitted in the preview. Fly and sea anglers can switch the centre to suit.

12 trophies. Engraving included on all of them.

How fishing trophies work here

We keep one dedicated fishing trophy, the Leaping Carp at 230mm, with a silver carp on a rock base. It suits a club's top award. Everything else on this page is a multi-sport trophy that carries a 1 inch centre, and that gives you far more choice of height and price. Coarse Fishing shows first in the preview, with Fly Fishing, Sea Fishing, Freshwater Fish and Fishing a quick swap away. A coarse club and a sea section can order different centres on the same trophy.

Awards for an angling club

  • Match series winner, plus second and third on points
  • Single match winners through the season
  • Heaviest fish, split by species if you keep a specimen list
  • Best bag or best net
  • Junior Angler of the Year
  • Most Improved Angler
  • Clubman, for the member who cuts the swims and runs the draw

Sizing up a season

A club with 12 matches and three prizes at each will get through 36 trophies, which reaches the 7% band if you order them in one go. Most clubs choose a Spirit Cup from 115mm or a Saltire from 170mm for match prizes, then keep something bigger for the series. A Sanford Lidded Cup, from 355mm to 495mm, has a centre in the lid and a 70 x 40mm plate or larger, which makes a proper series trophy. If you order ahead, engrave the match and venue, and leave the name for the club's records.

Fishing plate wording

Weights are what anglers remember, so keep them. Use the units your club weighs in. The slash shows where a new line starts:

  • Heaviest Carp / Chris Dunn / 24lb 6oz
  • Match Series Winner / Alan Cross / 2026
  • Best Bag / Mill Lake / 42lb 8oz
  • Junior Angler / Finn Doyle / 2026

Trophies that stay with the club

A specimen record is best kept on a board. The wooden shields in shields and plaques have rows of small plates, one for each year's name. Trophy cups offer more traditional pieces for a long-standing match. Discount bands are on the clubs and leagues page, and trophies under £10 helps when the prize fund is small. If the same club holds a joke prize for the first to fall in, novelty trophies has the Wooden Spoon.

Fishing Trophies: your questions

Do you have a carp trophy?
Yes. The Leaping Carp Fishing Trophy shows a silver carp on a rock base at 230mm, with a 50 x 25mm plate. It costs £35.50 with engraving included, and it makes a good series or specimen award.
What fishing centres can I choose?
There are Coarse Fishing, Fly Fishing, Sea Fishing, Freshwater Fish and Fishing designs. Coarse Fishing opens on this page, and you can change it on the product page. The preview shows your chosen centre fitted.
Can a fish weight go on the plate?
Yes. A weight such as 24lb 6oz is short and sits neatly under a name on a 50 x 16mm plate. Check the weight against the match book first, as we engrave what you send.
What is a good low-cost match prize?
A Spirit Cup at 115mm or a Saltire at 170mm, both from £6.50 with a fishing centre fitted and engraving included. Ordering a season's prizes together brings the quantity discount into play.
