About Trade Trophies
Trade Trophies is a family business based in Cradley Heath, in the Black Country. We have been family-run since 1965, and we are the sister business to Trade Engraving. This shop does one job: it gets an engraved trophy to the club secretary, coach, teacher or league organiser who needs one.
Why the engraving workshop matters
A trophy is only a trophy until the plate goes on. After that it belongs to someone. The plate gets read out at the presentation, photographed by parents and kept for years, so it is the part we care about most.
We do not make the trophies. We make the engraving, in our own workshop, and that shapes how we run the shop:
- Plates are rotary engraved. A cutter removes the coloured finish to show bright metal underneath, so the lettering is cut in and cannot rub off.
- A person sets every plate. The live preview on each trophy is a guide. We set the final size and spacing by hand, and if your wording is long for a plate, we check with you.
- Engraving is part of the price. There is no set-up fee and no charge per letter, because a list of 30 different names is normal work for us.
- Stock is live. Each page shows how many of each size we can send, updated through the day. A size we cannot send cannot be ordered, so you will not plan a presentation around a trophy we do not have.
Who we work with
The person buying is usually doing it for someone else, often in their spare time. So we keep things simple. One trophy is fine, and quantity discounts come off automatically in the basket. See our clubs and leagues page or our schools page.
