School Trophies & Awards

School trophies and awards for sports days, houses, leavers and academic prizes, with engraving included in the price. The range runs from a £3.50 smiley star for infants to a 210mm star award for a head's prize. Fifteen mini shield designs cover maths, spelling, music and placings, and school accounts can see ex-VAT figures too.

11 trophies. Engraving included on all of them.

What this range covers

Schools tend to buy in three groups: lots of very cheap awards for the younger years, a set of subject prizes for year-end assemblies, and a few larger trophies for the top awards. This page holds all three. If you need more detail on school buying, go to our schools page.

By age group

  • Reception and Key Stage 1: the Smiley Star Award at 100mm or 110mm, the lowest priced item we sell, at £3.50 and £4.50. It takes a centre, so it can show any activity.
  • Key Stage 2: the Mini Shield School Award at 100mm and £4.95, with motifs for Well Done, Star Performer, Maths, Spelling and Music.
  • Secondary: the Allstar Achievement Award at 145mm, with some designs at 185mm, or the Utopia Star Award at 190mm or 210mm.

Using coloured stars for houses

The Mini Shield and the Allstar Achievement both come with Red, Blue, Green and Yellow Star designs. These match the usual four-house system, so a pupil can receive a shield in their house colour. A term's house points winners could each have one, with one cup at the end of the year. Choose that cup from trophy cups.

Academic and arts centres

Many trophies take a 1 inch centre, and there are designs for Academic, Academic Achievement, Reading, Spelling, Science Star, Music, Drama, Art and Photography. So a Spirit Cup or a Wreath Centre Plaque can become a subject prize. The Victory Statuette Award is a gold figure at 165mm or 195mm, and it is a natural pick for a drama award. Note that it is a male figure.

School plate wording

Teachers are good at this already, so here is just a reminder to keep it short. A slash shows a line break:

  • Headteacher's Award / Aisha Patel / 2027
  • Reading Award / Class 3 / Noah Bell
  • Blue House / House Cup Winners
  • Year 6 Leavers / Best All-Rounder

Ordering for school

Mixed designs count together, so 30 mini shields and 5 Utopia Star Awards reach 7% off. Prices include VAT, and you can see the ex-VAT price for your accounts. Sports day organisers should read our school sports day guide. For a team trophy, try football trophies or netball trophies.

School Trophies & Awards: your questions

What is the cheapest school award?
The Smiley Star Award at 100mm costs £3.50 with engraving included, and the 110mm is £4.50. It takes a 1 inch centre, so you can choose a design to suit the activity or subject.
Which designs does the Mini Shield School Award come in?
There are 15: Achievement, Star Performer, Well Done, Winner, Gold Star, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place, Maths, Spelling, Music, and Red, Blue, Yellow and Green Star. Each one is 100mm and costs £4.95.
Can we see prices without VAT?
Yes. Prices on the site include VAT, and school accounts can see the ex-VAT price too, which makes budgeting and paperwork simpler. Quantity discounts apply on top in the basket.
