Glass Awards

Glass awards for long service, retirements, sales results, sports dinners and school prizes, in 22 shapes from an 80mm desk block to a 350mm obelisk. We laser engrave your wording directly on the glass in our Cradley Heath workshop, so there is no plate to fit. Engraving your wording is included, a logo can be uploaded on the page, and there is no minimum order.

Start with the shape

The outline tells a room what the award is for before anyone reads a word, so choose that first.

  • Long service and retirements: calm shapes work best. The Glass Plaque Award has five heights, one for each milestone, and the Pillar Award suits someone who has held a place together.
  • Sales results: stars and peaks suit a number being beaten. Look at the Star on Glass or the Jade Glass Peak Award.
  • Sports dinners: the Crystal Star Pillar Award and the Jade Glass Wedge Award both hold their own on a table of cups.
  • School prizes: the Jade Glass Rectangle Award has seven heights, enough for one per year group, and the Optic Glass Award comes in four colours for school houses.

Jade or the rest of the range

Eight pieces are jade glass awards, with a green tint that shows along the edges and the base. The other 14 sit in our optical and crystal awards. Both groups are engraved the same way, so pick the look you prefer.

Choosing a height

Use height to show rank. A set of three works best when the steps are easy to see: the Jade Plaque Award goes up in 50mm steps, from 165mm to 265mm. Where heights sit close together, as on the Blue Ice Star Glass at 225mm and 245mm, treat them as a matched pair. Check the size against the room too. A 110mm globe suits a desk, while a 350mm obelisk belongs on a stage.

Wording and logos

Glass has no plate, so the layout is more open than on a trophy. Even so, less reads better. Aim for a title, a name and a date, with your logo at the top. Upload the logo on the product page, and if the artwork needs redrawing before it will engrave cleanly, we get in touch first. Slim columns carry the wording on the base, so plan on three or four short lines there. Our guide on what to engrave has layouts that work just as well on glass.

Ordering a mixed set

Stock is live, so the page shows how many of each height we can send. The quantity discount starts at 2% off five pieces and reaches 12% at 100. Glass and trophies count together, which helps if you are also buying for a club or a company awards evening.

Glass Awards: your questions

Can you engrave our logo on a glass award?
Yes, upload your logo on the product page and we laser engrave it with your wording. If the artwork needs redrawing before it will engrave cleanly, we get in touch first, so nothing goes ahead on a guess.
Do glass awards have a plate or a centre?
No, your wording is laser engraved directly on the glass in our own workshop, which makes it part of the piece. There is no plate to fix on, and none of these awards take a 1 inch centre.
Can I order a single glass award?
Yes, there is no minimum order, so one award for one retirement is fine. The quantity discount starts at five pieces, and any glass and trophies in the same basket count together towards it.
Which glass award suits a retirement?
The Jade Block Award and the Optic Crystal Star Award both leave room for a name, the years served and a short thank-you. For someone who would rather avoid a star, the plain Pillar Award is a quieter choice.
How do I know a height is available?
Each product page shows live stock, updated through the day, so you can see how many of each height we can send. A height we cannot send cannot be ordered, which saves any disappointment later.
