Trophy Cups

Trophy cups for league champions, club finals and annual competitions, with engraving included in the price. The ten cups here run from a 115mm junior cup to the 630mm Massimo Giant Cup, in gold, silver and nickel plated finishes. Start with the job the cup has to do

A cup that the winner keeps and a cup that comes back every year are different purchases. For a keeper, you want a fair height at a fair price. For a perpetual cup, it has to look right for a decade, and it needs a plate big enough for the competition name.

The cups, by job

  • Small keepers: the Swirl Cup at 130mm comes in gold, silver or bronze, an easy 1st, 2nd and 3rd set. The Spirit Cup is 115mm to 170mm, in gold or silver, with a centre in the stem.
  • League cups: the Heritage Cup has scroll handles and five heights from 190mm to 350mm, gold or silver. The Cambridge Cup has a plain polished bowl from 250mm to 380mm.
  • Silver cups: the Imperial Silver Cup has a diamond-cut bowl and the Tribute Silver Cup has a swirl-fluted bowl, both up to 380mm.
  • Traditional cups: the Nickel Plated Scroll Handle Cup and the Nickel Plated Presentation Cup, the second in seven sizes from 115mm to 305mm.
  • Showpieces: the Sanford Lidded Cup up to 495mm, with a centre in the lid, and the Massimo Giant Cup at 580mm or 630mm.

Sizing cups for league divisions

A league with several divisions can use one design and step down the sizes. The Imperial Silver Cup does this well: 380mm for Division 1, 335mm for Division 2, 310mm for Division 3 and 255mm for Division 4. All four count together, so add the runners-up awards and the discount band climbs quickly. See the clubs and leagues page for details.

Cup plate wording

On a large plate you can write more, but it is still easier to read in three or four lines. Each slash marks a new line:

  • The Chairman's Cup / Presented by J. Hall / 2026
  • Sunday League / Division 1 Champions / 2026-27
  • Club Championship / Winner / Paul Reeve
  • Bert Lowe Memorial Trophy / Annual Pairs

Centres on cups

Only the Spirit Cup and the Sanford Lidded Cup take a centre, and both are multi-sport trophies you will find on every sport's page. That means a golf or bowls club can have a sport-specific cup without any extra cost. If you want something for a wall, try shields and plaques. Trophy Cups: your questions

What is the biggest cup you sell?
The Massimo Giant Cup at 630mm, with a 90 x 40mm plate. It also comes in 580mm. It suits a county final, a league's premier competition or a club championship that needs real presence on the table.
What is the cheapest cup?
The Swirl Cup at 130mm costs £5.95 with engraving included, in gold, silver or bronze. Taller Swirl Cups start at 240mm. The Spirit Cup is next, starting at £6.50 at 115mm.
Which cups take a sport centre?
The Spirit Cup and the Sanford Lidded Cup both take a 1 inch centre, included in the price. On the Spirit Cup it sits in the stem, and on the Sanford it sits in the lid.
Which cups come in gold?
The Heritage Cup, Cambridge Cup, Spirit Cup and Swirl Cup all come in gold or silver. The Imperial and Tribute are silver only. The plate follows the colour, so a gold cup has a gold plate.
Do cups have room for a long competition name?
The larger ones do. Plates grow with the cup, from 50 x 25mm on smaller league cups up to 90 x 40mm on the largest. Check the plate size shown for each height before you order.
